We provide home consultations for both sick pets and general health checks, delivered in a calm, compassionate, and unhurried environment. Seeing your pet at home helps lower their stress levels and allows them to exhibit natural behaviours, which significantly aids in their examination and diagnosis.

As a single vet practice, we offer personalised continuity of care to ensure we truly get to know your pet. Following a clinical examination, we will discuss all available treatment options and advise you on keeping your pet happy and healthy.

A slightly shorter consultation for repeat checks of an active condition or for repeat medication checks for longer term illness.

Service-Only Consultation

Please note that this is our shortest appointment type, which is strictly reserved for repeat injections (such as arthritis or allergy medications), anal gland expressions, administration of flea and worm treatment or nail clips only.

If you have any other concerns to discuss, or multiple requirements in the same appointment, you will need to book a full consultation or repeat consultation so we have adequate time to assist you.

Laboratory Diagnostic Services

We offer a range of diagnostic services that can be tested in house or sent to an external laboratory for analysis, including urine testing, blood sampling, swabs and smears, and fine needle aspirates of lumps and bumps.

Written Prescriptions

Written Prescriptions

Please note that written prescriptions are available if you wish to purchase medication from an online pharmacy, which may be more cost-effective. Please be aware that you will need to select your own pharmacy, as we are unable to provide specific recommendations.

Our fees for written prescriptions are as follows:

– £21.00 for the first medicine prescribed in a consultation
– £12.50 for each additional medicine prescribed during the same consultation

Digital written prescriptions will be issued via email within 48 hours of your consultation and payment.

FAQ

A standard veterinary consultation at Robin’s Nest Vets costs £70. If your pet needs a repeat consultation, the fee is £60, while a service-only consultation costs £50. We provide veterinary care through our mobile practice in Harrogate, helping you arrange appointments in the comfort of your own home.

An emergency or second-opinion consultation at Robin’s Nest Vets costs £100. If you need a second opinion about your pet’s health or are concerned about their condition, please contact us to discuss the appointment and the care required. For a life-threatening emergency, seek urgent veterinary advice.

Our puppy and kitten package costs £130. For adult pets that need a vaccination course or need to restart their vaccinations, the adult course/restart price is £115. Contact Robin’s Nest Vets to discuss your pet’s vaccination history and determine which option is suitable.

Our booster vaccination prices are £75 for dogs, £80 for cats and £85 for rabbits. Robin’s Nest Vets provides veterinary care in Harrogate, including vaccinations for pets. Contact us to discuss your pet’s vaccination history and arrange an appropriate appointment.

A kennel cough vaccination at Robin’s Nest Vets costs £75 when given on its own, or £35 when given at the time of a booster vaccination. If your dog needs both a booster and kennel cough vaccination, combining the appointments may reduce the kennel cough vaccination fee.

A rabies vaccination at Robin’s Nest Vets costs £85. If your pet requires a rabies vaccination, contact us to discuss their needs and arrange an appointment. Please mention any travel requirements when enquiring so these can be considered when planning your pet’s vaccination.

Yes, our price list includes a £15 multi-pet discount on boosters and a £10 multi-pet discount on consultations. If you have more than one pet needing veterinary care, mention this when booking with Robin’s Nest Vets so we can explain how the relevant discount applies to your appointment.

When carried out during a consultation, a nail clip costs £15 and anal gland emptying costs £15. These are listed as individual service charges. Contact Robin’s Nest Vets if your pet needs either service and you would like to discuss arranging an appointment.

Microchipping during a consultation costs £25. A microchip helps identify your pet if they become lost. Contact our Harrogate mobile veterinary practice to arrange microchipping and discuss any questions about the procedure.

A veterinary prescription costs £21 for the first item and £12.50 for each additional item. If you need a prescription for your pet, contact Robin’s Nest Vets to discuss your requirements. Prescription charges are listed separately from the cost of any medication supplied.
